Ben Midyette is the Radiation Compliance Officer (RCO) for Biosum LLC, overseeing safe and legal use of DEXA scans. With a Master's in Physics focusing on radiation safety, Ben has over 25 years of experience in radiation protection, public health, and regulatory affairs.
Ben is the lead physicist at Carolina Safety & Health Consultants, LLC, providing safety consulting services in 18 states. He also has worked with the State of North Carolina in various roles, including as a state regulator and consultant for emergency response on chemical, biological, and radiological agents.
Ben's expertise spans Radiation Physics, Health Physics, Radiation Shielding Design, Laser Safety, and Environmental Hazards Monitoring. His commitment to safety and regulatory compliance ensures Biosum's operations meet the highest standards.
